Helping out at events at Haddo is incredibly good fun, and so rewarding. ​

We hold several large events every year and many, many smaller activities, all of which are made so much better for our volunteer helpers. 

​

Our volunteers dress up as witches, goblins and fairies at Halloween and welcome over 1000 people to the park.  At Easter we dawn bunny suits, hide thousands of beautifully painted wooden eggs around park.  We hold musical days, art festivals, bushcraft, den building, pond dipping, dog shows, Christmas festivals, and family fun days.  All these events and activities take a huge amount of planning and, more importantly, need volunteers to make them amazing.

If you like organising things and being part of a lovely team of people, or maybe you want to extend your social circle doing something fun and creative.  Whatever your motivations, there is a place for you on our event team.

If you are studying for an events qualification we will sign off your hours at Haddo as work experience - something we have done for many students over the years.

 

Volunteering at events is a great way to give back and learn new skills!  We like to bring as much magic as we can to our events, and that is only possible with the incredible bunch of volunteers who always give so much to make an event amazing.
